On June 15th 2002 the Flanders Fashion Institute organised a Preview of ModeNatie to celebrate that the ModeNatie-building was finished in its pure architectural form.

They organised this Preview to give every visitor the chance to meet with this unique building (designed by Belgian architect Marie-José Van Hee) and with the many enthusiastic players that made this building possible. For many visitors this was the introduction to the power of Belgian fashion.
